Title Sequence 1
The book: The little prince
Genre: Fairy tale
Major Theme: The Little Prince exposes the ignorance that accompanies an incomplete and narrow-minded perspective.
Plan: At the title sequence, the whole story will be shown shortly using drawings. I will use innocent feeling drawings because the movies will be based on the fairy tale.
The visual style:
This is my visual style options for the title. I want to use deep ocean blue with gradient and yellow point color. Other drawings will be colorful with this blue background color.
Music: The sound will be not heavy feeling. I want to use light, playful sound because this is the beginning of the movie. I just want to lead curiosity about the movie.
Research Film: These are the references for my title sequence.
These are great example for my work. The color combination and the simple drawings are very similar with what I want. The drawing elements are moving based on some background and make a story. Another example like this is the title sequence of "catch me if you can" which is shown last week in the class. That title sequence also show the viewers whole story tip with graphic elements.
These are the good example as well in terms of the movement of the drawings. Different characters show different personality in this title sequence.
Concepts:Basically, the drawn elements with deep water color will appear according to the order of story. And they show the viewers their characteristic.
This sample frame is not my drawing. I just used some other drawing for show you the concept at this time.
A: The title and name of the operators will have white and yellow color. I want to use color gradient in this title from white to yellow. The drawings will keep moving and I think this title treatment will match with that movement successfully.
B: The title typeface gives childish feeling. Because this book deals with the essential mind of human I thought that typeface will strengthen the concept.

Sound animation story board and poster
The sound that I choose is "Requiem".
Sadly, about a week ago, my best friend's mom passed away. I got a shock and I was so saddened to hear that she died. My friend talked to me about her feelings and for a long time, I felt very sad and my heart is chocked with emotion.
"Requiem" is very sad music. After I choose this music, I researched the typeface which has distorted shape or can give this tragic feelings. Finally, I found the typeface that I'm looking for. The name of the typeface is "Requiem" as well. I believe this type can give very sorrow, tragic feeling that I want to express in this animation.
This is the poster of the animation.
I put the letters at the bottom of the page in order to show viewers sadness. All letters which are sank to the bottom represent gloomy feeling.
This is a story board for this animation. The name of the type will be appeared slowly using blur effects that seems like tears. And then, the type will be changed in their scale, position with some flash effects that means tragic feeling. At the end of animation, all the letters are sank to the bottom of the screen weakly.
